Donations for Refugees

We’ve received interest from our members who are seeking ways to help those in need in our communities, including refugees, those affected by wildfires, the war in Ukraine, and other situations. The generosity of our members fills our hearts. Below are some initial resources but be sure to add your resources and how you might also be able to serve our newest neighbors.

Selena Besirevic at selena@mrutherfordlaw.com is a contact for your material donations to refugee organizations.

You’ll also find many other resources via the Colorado Refugee Services Program.

If there are volunteer opportunities please be sure to add them as well.

Volunteer from Home

I recently met the Founder and CEO of Project Helping, which was created to leverage the mental wellness benefits of volunteering, and learned about their KyndKits. KyndKits are small, meaningful volunteer experiences and acts of kindness that you can do anywhere, anytime. There are several kits to choose from and you can purchase a single kit or sign up to receive a different kit each month. Order your KyndKit today!
