Pro bono help for a young mother - appellate family law

REQUEST: Trying to connect a young mother with a pro bono family law attorney - she was previously represented but ran out of funds and is facing an abusive ex who is trying to relocate their child out of state. It sounds as if she is in a position now of needing help appealing a magistrate’s decision to the district court. Please let me know if anyone has the capacity to help this mother - she may be able to do a sliding scale payment if pro bono is not an option. Thank you for any help!

RESPONSE: I recommend they contact Mari Newman https://www.kln-law.com/mari-newman, Iris Halpern https://rmlawyers.com/attorneys/iris-halpern/, and Laura Wolf https://spark-law.com/laura-wolf/. They all handle discrimination and civil rights claims.
